- Destination: Rigi Klösterli
The 3.1 kilometer long path runs from Rigi Kulm along the tracks of the Rigi Railways to Rigi Staffel. From Rigi Staffel, the path becomes steep and the speed immediately increases. You go rapidly downhill to Rigi Klösterli, where sport shuttle trains take you back to the start.
No prior experience is required for tobogganing, but consideration, quick reactions, good judgment, as well as good footwear are important for the safety of everyone.
Notes
- Dogs are not allowed on the toboggan runs.
- So that future generations can also enjoy the Queen of the Mountains, we ask you to dispose of your waste at the stations of the Rigi Railways. Thank you.
You can find the current operating status of the railways and toboggan runs here.

Goldau: A4 exit Goldau, follow signs to the A4 parking lot of RIGI BAHNEN AG
At the stations of the Rigi Railways in Vitznau and Goldau A4, paid parking spaces are available. However, we recommend public transport instead of a car: Sit back, enjoy, and do something good for the environment.
Rigi Kulm, the starting point of the toboggan run, is conveniently accessible by cogwheel train via Vitznau or Goldau.
Additional information
For the sake of the wild animals: In winter, wild animals need quiet retreat areas to survive. Please stay on the toboggan run so that the wild animals are not disturbed.
