Book Accessible Holidays 

The “Accessible Tour of Switzerland” opens up the country’s remarkable diversity to everyone. Travel barrier‑free over 15 days—or choose from one of five shorter sections—across all language regions by train, boat, or wheelchair‑accessible taxi. The price includes accommodation, train and boat tickets, and optional personal travel assistance. The route showcases stunning lakes, historic towns, and alpine landscapes, including the Lake Lucerne region and the city of Lucerne.

  • Level access to the boats as well as to the outdoor decks and restaurants in second-class. With the exception of the MS Rütli, all boats are wheelchair accessible and feature a wheelchair-accessible toilet. 
  • The MS Diamant has a lift and is fully wheelchair accessible

  • Weggis - Rigi Kaltbad, wheelchair accessible cable car
  • Vitznau - Rigi Kulm, access to cogwheel railway without ramp
  • Goldau - Rigi Kulm, access to cogwheel railway via ramp
  • Kräbel - Rigi Scheidegg, parking and cable car wheelchair accessible
  • Wheelchair accessible WCs at the stations in Vitznau, Goldau, Rigi Kaltbad, Rigi Staffel and Rigi Kulm
  • Disabled parking spaces in Vitznau, Goldau und Weggis
  • Station parking at Goldau A4 is not wheelchair accessible, crossing of tracks and high steps

A reservation is recommended for guests using wheelchairs. Mountain wheelchairs are available for hire in the summer.

Bus Services Auto AG Schwyz

  • Services 508/502: Küssnacht – Weggis – Vitznau – Brunnen – Schwyz – Steinen – Goldau – Arth, low-floor buses in service. No reservation required, 1-2 wheelchair spaces.
  • Services 509 and 510: Village Bus Weggis (Ortsbus), advanced reservation is required.
  • Service 535: Gersau boat station – Gersau Ober Gschwend, advanced reservation is required.
