Half a sled kilometer promises lots of fun and joy. Rigi Staffelhöhe is conveniently reachable by cogwheel railway from Vitznau. Regular trains take the sledders back to the start from Rigi Kaltbad.
No prior knowledge is required for sledding, but consideration, quick reaction, good judgment, and good footwear are important for everyone's safety.
Notes
- Dogs are not allowed on the sledding paths.

Equipment
Good winter equipment: weather-appropriate clothing, hiking boots with good tread, gloves, helmet. At Rigi Kaltbad there is a sports kiosk where sleds can be rented.
Directions & Parking facilities
In Vitznau there are paid parking spaces available. However, we recommend public transport instead of a car: lean back, enjoy and also do something good for the environment.
Rigi Staffelhöhe, the starting point of the sledding route, is conveniently accessible via Vitznau by the cogwheel railway.
Additional information
For the sake of wild animals: In winter, wild animals need quiet retreat areas to survive. Please stay on the sledding path so that the wild animals are not disturbed.
