This effortless elevation hike offers you magnificent views over the Swiss plateau all the way to the Black Forest and the Vosges. Let yourself be enchanted by spectacular views down to Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug. You can expect a great pleasure with minimal effort, as the path leads steadily downhill. The panoramic view from the Känzeli viewpoint is simply fantastic. Queen Victoria of England was already there in 1868 and praised the majestic panoramic view.

Paid parking is available at the Rigi railway stations in Vitznau and Goldau A4.
However, we recommend public transport instead of the car: lean back, enjoy, and do something good for the environment at the same time.
You can reach Rigi Kulm station with the cogwheel train from Vitznau or Goldau.
The hiking ticket for this hike includes the following train rides:
- from Vitznau / Weggis to Rigi Kulm with the cogwheel train or cable car
- from Rigi Kaltbad to Vitznau / Weggis with the cogwheel train or cable car
