Rigi Staffel - Rigi Staffelhöhe - Rigi Känzeli - Rigi Kaltbad - Rigi First - rock path

The flower path leads from Rigi Kaltbad via Känzeli to Rigi Staffel, as well as from Rigi Kaltbad over the rock path. In the Rigi Kaltbad - Rigi First area, the path can even be completed with a stroller and wheelchair.

During the blooming season, the flowers along this colorful path are carefully labeled by the Pro Rigi association with signs.

Attention field botanists: This nature route offers you, besides breathtaking panoramic views, instructive insights into the diverse botany and geology of the Rigi. About 200 plant species thrive along the path during the blooming season – including some very rare specimens. A widely spread plant is the Troll flower, locally also called Rigirolle. The individual plants are well signposted along the flower path. A free brochure with many pictures of the flower path is available at the valley stations of the Rigi Bahnen and the service center at Rigi Kaltbad. Between Rigi Kaltbad and Rigi First, a panel also provides information about the geological history of the Queen of the Mountains. On this section, the typical Rigi conglomerate is beautifully visible.

After the hike, it is possible to return to the valley from the stations Rigi Wölfertschen-First, Rigi Klösterli, or Rigi Kaltbad.
