On the snowshoe trail, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Alps and the Central Plateau.

A unique experience, away from the well-trodden paths, is offered by this snowshoe trail. The start and finish point is Rigi Burggeist. The circular route is about 4 km long and takes about 120 minutes, depending on fitness level. The snowshoe tours on Rigi Scheidegg-Burggeist are among the secret favorites of all snow sports enthusiasts. The paths are not tracked and allow you an incomparable mountain experience. Snowshoes and poles can be rented at the mountain inn Rigi Burggeist. You will also be equipped with maps of this snowshoe tour at the mountain inn.

Via Brunnen - Gersau - Obergschwend. Take the Obergschwend-Rigi Burggeist aerial cableway to Rigi Burggeist.

At the stations of the Kräbel-Rigi Scheidegg and Obergschwend-Rigi Burggeist aerial cableways, paid parking spaces are available.

Rigi Burggeist, the starting point of the snowshoe hike, is accessible via Goldau with the Kräbel-Rigi Scheidegg aerial cableway. The short walk from Rigi Scheidegg to Rigi Burggeist takes 15 minutes.
