Aerial cableway Küssnacht - Seebodenalp

The Seebodenalp hiking and winter sports area is located on a large terrace at 1030 m above sea level: Lake Lucerne glistens at your feet and Rigi Kulm towers high above. Surrounded by forest, the fastest and most convenient way to reach the alp is by cable car from Küssnacht to Seebodenalp.

Rustic mountain restaurants invite you to enjoy and linger. In summer, you can enjoy a barbecue with a view of the lake at the well-maintained fireplaces, the "Glacier Trail" theme trail turns the wheel of time back to the last ice age and numerous hikes on the Rigi start or end at Seebodenalp.

In winter, the Seebodenalp often glints in the sun above the blanket of fog. Not only sun worshippers get their money's worth, but also winter sports enthusiasts: the small but excellent ski area and the cross-country ski trail offer snow sports away from the hustle and bustle.

The lift runs continuously when there is a high number of guests. The lift runs every 1/2 hour, i.e. on the hour and half hour. Extra and night rides by arrangement.
