Music lovers in the lakeside communities once again have the opportunity to meet concert organist Olivier Eisenmann and his partner, flautist Verena Steffen, in the Weggis Catholic parish church. Their programme spans five centuries of music history and includes a diverse selection of composers. They will alternate between duo and solo works from the early and high baroque periods (Girolamo Frescobaldi, Marin Marais), the classical period (W.A. Mozart), the romantic period (Fanny Hensel-Mendelssohn, Josef Gabriel Rheinberger and Marco Enrico Bossi) and the modern era, which is represented by the "Lurnfelder Miniaturen" by Helmuth Franz Luksch from Austria and, as the crowning finale, a "Voluntary" by the French-Canadian Denis Bédard.
