Andi Rieser is an artist who lives on the Steinhuserberg in the Napf region of Lucerne. For two years, he collected and worked with Nagelfluh stone at his home.
By cutting the stones with a stone milling machine and subsequently polishing the cut surfaces, an extraordinary variety of colors, structures, and shapes is revealed within them. The view into the interior of the stones is complemented by macro photographs and juxtaposed with landscape images of the area where they were found.
On Saturday, September 5, at 3:30 p.m., Andi Rieser will give us an insight into his work and his publication “Nagelfluh.”
Following that
° 5:00 p.m. Opening reception “Ode to the Nagelfluh” / Bergwerk Rigi
Please register for the events at bergwerk-rigi.ch
