The Gruebi (shelter) at Rigi Kaltbad is at the edge of the «Rigiland» playground and is equipped with benches, tables and firewood. The barbecue site/Gruebi is under the shade of some trees. The barbecue area is perfect for families because it is right by the playground and children have plenty of room to play.
The Gruebi is 5 a minutes' walk from the Rigi Kaltbad mountain railway station (cogwheel railway and aerial cable-car).
