Gruebisbalm cave

Cave

Open only on request. Please find the current Covid-19 safety concept from the Gruebisbalm cave here.

Gruebisbalm cave is a fascinating location. The cave is situated at 900 metres a.s.l., hidden behind an idyllic waterfall not far from the Rigi Bahnen station Gruebisbalm. The cave is only open to a maximum of 300 people by reservation.

It is possible to enter the cave, however, visitors must first register at Öko-Hotel Gruebisbalm, where they will receive all the necessary information. The cave is suitable for events with up to 400 people. From product presentations to private parties: the unique atmosphere inside the 100,000-year-old Gruebisbalm cave makes for an unforgettable event. The cave features wooden tables and benches, a stage, electrical fittings and toilets (at the entrance). Heating can be arranged if necessary, however, we still recommend guests wear clothing suitable for cave conditions. Depending on the size of the group, the cave can be subdivided using wooden partitions. This unique venue is rounded off by a wide variety of entertainment options.
