Locomotive 7 basket rides

Enjoy a Rigi ride on the front of locomotive 7, an incomparable jewel in the Rigi's historic fleet of carriages. Locomotive 7 has been in the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne since 1959 and was brought back to Mount Rigi especially for the 150th anniversary of Rigi Railways. Locomotive 7 is the world's only mobile cogwheel steam locomotive with an upright boiler and has a basket at the front where you can breathe in the steam air of the original mountain railway pioneers.
