The morning is the best time to experience the wintry mountain landscape of the Rigi. The tranquillity, the majestic panorama and the feeling of having the mountains almost to yourself - simply incomparable. Our tip: Take the Rigi Railway from Vitznau or Goldau up to Rigi Kulm by cogwheel railway at 8 am. From there, a well-signposted hiking route leads directly to the Chäserenholzhütte - after just 20 minutes, the well-deserved culinary reward awaits: a delicious alpine breakfast!
The Alp-Zmorge is served from 9:00 am to 11:30 am - ideal for early risers and those who prefer a more leisurely approach. If you don't like getting up early, you can also come at 11 am.
