We planned our home with great attention to detail and completed it in 2025. We wanted to create a place that combines modernity with the warm, cozy atmosphere of alpine chic style. Our double beds are made of Swiss stone pine and fir.

Our light-flooded apartment offers you everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay: modern furnishings, high-quality materials and a touch of Swiss coziness. Whether you start the day with a coffee on the terrace overlooking Lake Lucerne or retreat to the comfortable living area after a hike in the mountains - here you can relax and unwind.

Please understand that we do not allow pets due to consideration for allergy sufferers.

Our Airbnb is located on the mountain, halfway up the Rigi mountain, about 1km walk or 5 min drive from the lake. It is accessible via a steep driveway. From there you can reach the second floor via 2 staircases with 17 steps each. Unfortunately there is no elevator. People with disabilities or mobility impairments may have difficulty reaching the AirBnB.

We recommend that you arrive by car, as public transportation involves many changes and walking time on weekends. You can also park on our property free of charge.

There are two bus routes to us: the free local bus, which runs almost every hour until 5 pm during the week, and the public bus, which runs twice an hour every day, including weekends - sometimes even at night. Please note that the bus does not run directly to our front door at weekends, but stops 1km downhill.

A journey to Lucerne is possible by public transport.
Both buses go to the village, from where you can take a boat to Lucerne; the whole journey takes about 1.5 hours. By car it is only half an hour (outside rush hour).

The Rigi mountain is directly above us and can be reached via a beautiful 2 to 3 hour hike from our front door.
In particular, there is the small Rigi ski area, which can be reached by cogwheel railroad and cable car.

The cogwheel railroad in Vitznau and the cable car in Weggis to Rigi Kaltbad and Rigi Kulm are about 5 minutes away by car or bus or car. There are plenty of parking facilities there.

The boat rental in the village can be reached by bus or car in about 5 to 10 minutes.

You can borrow two sledges from us free of charge to ride the fantastic sledge run on Rigi Kulm.
