"Garageusen"—A Comedy in Three Acts by Oliver Grawehr (in Swiss dialect)
Geraldine Wittauer has caused a car accident. But she absolutely cannot lose her driver’s license if she wants to keep her new dream job. Her only chance: to have her car repaired discreetly and quickly. She drives to the Eigenmann garage and runs into her old school friend Mila there. But that’s not all: City Councilwoman Mannhart, whose car was also damaged in the accident, chooses the very same garage for her repairs.
To keep Geraldine from getting caught, the two school friends pretend to be garage owners. It’s not that easy, though, because neither of them has the slightest clue about cars. Still, Ms. Mannhart—who is also the city’s equal opportunity officer—is thrilled with the two of them. After all, where else would you find two women running a garage? All of this leads to major chaos, especially since the real boss keeps dropping by. The perpetually stressed garage owner then even forgets a job interview—which Mila is happy to handle for this likable applicant. And so the web of lies grows ever higher and shakier. Will an undercover investigator make things easier?
