Summer Sounds Matinee

The history of the Äxgüsi Band began in 2002 with a spontaneous rehearsal in the Winkelried restaurant in Sempach. The Äxgüsi Band's repertoire includes titles from the world of blues, dixie and old-time jazz, as well as evergreens and jazzy catchy tunes. Founded in Sempach, the band has long since expanded beyond Central Switzerland. Trips to the USA and Cuba have shaped the band's musical style. Titles such as "Sweet home Chicago", "New York, New York" etc. tell the story of these musical journeys.
