The Rigi not only impresses with its fascinating views (photo). It also offers a rich flora and winding paths that are little known. We start at Rigi-Staffel (1560 m above sea level) in the mountain spring and discover the fascinating alpine flora in the first part of the route up to Staffelhöhe. Then we hike slowly botanizing and enjoying the view lower down via Kaltbad and Felsentor-Romiti (photo) to Mittlerschwanden (685 m above sea level) into the summer flora to the lowland plants. On the same day, we encounter a wide variety of medicinal plants, wild herbs and alpine flowers.
