Lake Lucerne is no more than 800 metres wide between the Unter Nas and Ober Nas promontories where the lake is at its narrowest. Ober Nas is reached by following the road between Vitznau and Gersau for approx. 2 kilometres.
The vantage point at Rigi Känzeli is a 15-minute walk from Rigi Kaltbad. The straightforward footpath is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
From the Weggis jetty, it's a leisurely stroll along the quay towards Unterdorf, where you can pop into a garden restaurant.
From Rigi Kaltbad, head for Rigi First. The spectacular cliff path with its fantastic views is reached after about 20 minutes; it's closed in winter.
The striking Elephant Stone is situated between Vitznau and Weggis.
Running between Immensee and Brunnen, the Chestene (chestnut) Path offers a wealth of variety and glorious views, such as in Greppen, where the sunsets are a must-see.
