Brunni, the family paradise above Engelberg

The sun-drenched Brunni looks down upon the famous monastery village of Engelberg. Families, in particular, love this natural paradise. An aerial cableway takes you from Klostermatte up to Ristis.

In summer, you can follow footpaths, some easy, some more challenging; that also applies to the via ferrata. Instead, you could hike without shoes on the barefoot trail from Ristis up to the Brunni refuge. Time flies by thanks to the summer toboggan run, playgrounds and barbecue spots.

Lake Härzli can be reached on foot or by chairlift from Ristis. It’s a great place to play games, have fun and relax. You can search for Globi’s treasure, cool your feet, walk along the tickle path, dam up the mountain stream or barbecue a sausage. Other activities include wildlife observation, herb trails, yoga by Lake Härzli, geocaching and paragliding.

Enjoy skiing on the 12 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes or have fun sledging, walking in the snow or snowshoeing.
Novices start their skiing careers in Globi’s Winterland on the Klostermatte. It has magic carpets, a platter lift as well as a T-bar lift, gate poles, pump tracks, small jumps and much more – and the gentle terrain is ideal for children who are just starting skiing.
