--- title: "Horsepower" url: "https://www.weggis-vitznau.ch/en/package/horsepower" description: "You will find us at Girstein in Weggis. Driving from Küssnacht to Vitznau, you will find the large farm on your left just after the traffic circle. We live in the stable above the Felder Michi and Priska family home. Tinky and his friends live in an open stable in the small \"Gade\" with direct access to the pasture (open in summer and winter). The heated \"Reiterstübli\" in winter and the beautiful terrace with a view of the horses, mountains and lake in summer invite the parents of my riding guests to linger comfortably during their children's lessons. The riding lessons usually lead into the countryside. A large riding arena on the farm and a round pen on the neighboring farm offer further opportunities for exercise. In summer there is the possibility of a swim in the lake with the big furry friends. There is ample parking and the nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. What is horse-assisted intervention/therapy?In contrast to normal riding lessons, horse-assisted intervention (formerly therapeutic riding) is not primarily about learning how to handle horses and riding. The focus is on personal goals and supporting people in their development.Educational lessons - no conventional riding lessons!Fetching and preparing the horse, riding, leading, handling, caring for and rewarding the horse. No conventional lessons. Main goal: building relationships, developing personal skills, building self-confidence - side effect can be learning to ride.Age group: for all ages..... from toddlers to the end of life - individual support!Target group: for all those who place the relationship with the horse in the foreground - no exclusive riding lessons. Also for people with a handicap and light care requirements (without a therapeutic goal)" language: "en" type: "Offer" image: "https://dam.destination.one/3386485/8f0a0e041b81acdad06eb53c44ad730a11f96a1172629bc63ff9c9bbcee9761f/reiten-jpg.jpg" breadcrumb: "Root > The offical Weggis Vitznau Rigi guide > Destination.Data Details > Package" --- Share Horsepower ========== - Individual offer - Group Offer - Family Offer - Equestrian sports - from CHF 60.00 p.P.
