Greppen – the chestnut village

This tranquil village lies on Lake Lucerne on the eastern shore of the lake's Küssnacht arm. Its favourable orientation means it enjoys longer daylight time. Boasting a wonderful renovated church, the village centre is on the registry of Swiss heritage sites. It hosts the Chestene-Chilbi chestnut fair every October.
