From the boat station Weggis you walk to the village square in direction of the station of the cablecar Weggis - Rigi Kalbad. Pass the station on the right along the street and then along a small path, passing a meadow and the forest, until you reach Rigistrasse. Follow the street to the right until, after c. 700 metres, you can follow a path uphill on the left. Soon you will get to the Säntiberg hill. Follow the street, pass the Chienbach stream and turn right. After the meadow and the forest you see the next part of the trail: a steep ascent through the cliffs! This exciting part is on steps, safely accessible. The efforts are well worth it - the views are spectacular. After the ascent you will reach open, flatter grounds. Then after another short ascent through the woods you will be just below Rigi Kaltbad. Pass the buildings until you reach the centre of Rigi Kaltbad.
