AppleSteel is a Steelband from Einsiedeln, whose goal is to support and cultivate the interaction of Steeldrums, also referred to as Pan, with different instruments.
AppleSteel has been founded in January 1997. Most of the band members have been playing in Steelbands for many years and therefore have great experience in performing. AppleSteel cherishes the Caribbean Steeldrum-Music. But the group is open to other music genres such as Rock ’n‘ Roll, Cha-Cha, Folklore, Samba, Calypso and others. Thanks to the use of wind and other instruments, the band has created a unique style.
